The voice of business should be prominent in discussion and decision making about the future of Bude, Stratton and the surrounding parishes. Across Cornwall, in other towns, business representative groups or voices feature strongly in the decision making about the community they are part of and are helping to set direction and secure new investment.
And this is about businesses of all sizes and from any sector. It is great to see businesses coming out of the lockdown with new purpose and new businesses arriving in Bude to add further diversity to our local economy. This week, two examples from the Bude Business Voice Inbox. Baby Cornwall is building an online information provision to showcase family friendly and supportive venues, cafés and holiday accommodation across Cornwall. And Ebb & Flow Massage are moving to Bude, to the Bude Wellness Centre – already home to Bude businesses offering a range of natural therapies along with counselling and coaching.
On June 24th we will host an event at The Falcon Hotel called Bude Business and Community. Please join us to discuss how the voice of business can be even stronger. There will be lunch and networking, an exhibition of local businesses and presentations about how we can build a strong business input into the future of Bude and its surrounding area
Bude Business Voice is a led by business; and aims to represent all sectors in the Bude area economy. Working with organisations such as Bude Stratton Town Council, Parish Councils, The Bude Area Tourism Board, Transition Bude and the Bude Climate Partnership we want business to make a strong contribution to the future plans for Bude, Stratton, the community and the economy.
It is time for a strong Bude Business Voice.
